A spam banning frenzy is in full effect – DE-EVO-lution rules the day. Now, it’s more valuable than ever to run away form serving up junk and instead concentrating on building quality real content websites!
Oh no! A persons reviewer has got your web page inside their hot little hands and is going to read your words and search over your online site! Sounds like I am referring to the DMOZ Open Directory or the Yahoo Directory, having said that i am speaking about Google and Yahoo!
It’s no secret, Google, Yahoo and even MSN are banning websites in record numbers and it’s not just with the aid of filters and algorhythms. Inside their pursuit to offer just the best top quality search engine rankings for their visitors, the major search engines are adopting directory-like human reviewing techniques!
Search engines like google now have employees whose primary job is always to surf the web searching for spam and for them to push a control button and ban every web site they are available across that they feel really should not be on the first page.
Mainly on the top of their lists for human review are websites which get complaints (usually AdSense type sites) alerted by web forms on the search engine listings that enable do-gooder surfers to easily report websites and point for them as spammers. Many people even volunteer to rat on spam sites. And if that’s inadequate, there exists a good chance the competition will put your sites through the ringer and when they uncover any spamliness they will likely rat you.
Actually, it’s very likely that it is competition that is fingering the sites to get banned as they may be angry at losing the top position to a competing marketer. The only solution is always to play by the rules! Wait – there are no published rules… just a mantra saying do no evil…
But what about those who make websites with good intentions? They’re not evil. They just don’t keep up on all the top discuss this sort if thing and they also make a few mistakes like repeating keywords excessively.
And SEO aka Seo – I become the sense that THEY (Google) think this is EVIL. SEO optimizes pages for better rankings. We need to not do this – should we
Well – it’s not immoral or unethical so I’ll rise up against the big G and say YES we must do those things… but we must bear in mind that some human reviewer may not agree with us and push the button and banish us! Ouch! That hurts!
It’s just not safe to employ borderline techniques today. Overly hyped up pages with too many ads or JUST AdSense may appear to be strictly commercial. That in itself is not bad, but they want encyclopedias to rank on top too. Not just commercial pages.
The reason is really pretty obvious by trying to find out things through the search engine’s perspective.
What’s happening is that there are numerous huge amounts of website pages available that the major search engines are experiencing a progressively difficult time of indexing and cataloging all of the website pages their crawlers are spidering. Combine the massive expansion of the web with the proliferation of webmaster software that can build a large number of junk pages in the push of a button, and you’ve got a bulging inventory of webpages.
Those machine generated junk pages are clogging the hard drives and servers of search engines like google.
The thing is that the people who are the customers of the major search engines, have already been complaining quite vocally that too many website pages that appear on the first page from the search results are simply web pages with links to other web pages. Junk directories with scraped search engine results. Made for AdSense (MFA) sites who want simply an advertisement click.
You know what I’m talking about. Put simply, the automated in your face commercial junk is rendering it unpleasant and frequently difficult for the major search engines customers to locate real content website pages.
So… to keep their customers from looking elsewhere, each of the search engines like google are aggressively blacklisting garbage web sites and removing them off their indexes.
Webmasters beware, the search engines are cleaning house and also the free ride has ended. This means that the zillions of machine generated junk pages, that have become an epidemic, can no longer make webmasters money like they utilized to, if kdrevv money in any way.
There exists a better way though, plus it actually has a long term profit stream attached…. real content websites! Yes, why not build internet sites with real content that can last the test of time? Why build junk sites that will bite the dust when you can spend time on things that last? That’s the ticket! Build sites that last!
